Frequently Asked Questions

To book a hunt, you must contact us by phone or email.  After the dates have been selected a 50% deposit is required to secure your spot.  All forms of payment are accepted.  The remainder of the balance is due upon arrival.

Hunters will be required to bring their own shells and guns.  House guns are available for rent if needed.  Camo, waders, knee boots, and any snacks/beverages desired are recommended (Spring snow geese hunters will be fine with knee boots and normal waterfowl camo, waders are not required for snow goose hunting).

Lodging is not offered.  

Hotels are available in Mt. Vernon, IL and Marion, IL.  There are restaurants and sporting goods stores located nearby also.  

If you stay in Mt. Vernon, you will be 15 minutes from Nason Point, driving the speed limit on well maintained roads.  No spots are more than one hour drive from Marion, IL.

If you are flying in, St. Louis, Missouri airport is the closest major airport with car rental available, approximately 1 hour, 10 min from Mt. Vernon, IL.

Well-trained and well-behaved dogs are welcome.  Please discuss during booking if you will be bringing a dog with you.

Safety is the number one priority.  Pre-hunting safety meetings are held prior to each hunt. Absolutely no alcohol is allowed during the hunt.  Come prepared to hunt and have a great time.  We reserve the right to end or cancel a hunt without refund if unsafe or unsportsmanlike conduct is being displayed.
